Towel Holders

Using the same rag yarn as I used for the rug, I needed something to hold my towels on my oven door. The handle doesn't have enough space behind it for a towel to drape directly over it, so I made these:
I can make them out of yarn as well.

Vintage-style Rag Rug

This is crocheted out of an upcycled king-size sheet.
The price depends on whether or not you provide the sheet/sheets to use, and size needed.
It works great in my kitchen. I wanted something softer and squishier for the floor by the sink. Standing there to do dishes is so much nicer now! Especially since the a/c vent is right there and makes the tile really cold!

Shaggy Raggy Rug

I've been finding ways to reuse bedsheets and upcycle them into useful home accessories. My first creation was this shaggy rug. It's crocheted into whatever shape you want, then I use a king-size bedsheet (or several twin sheets) to create the shaggy part.

It's super comfy, and best of all, very washable!

Price depends on the cost of the bedsheets (or if you want to upcycle some you already have), and the size/shape you want. Contact me if you want a price quote!

Sock monkeys!

For some reason I started saying 'SOCK MONKEYS!' when things go wrong....when i forget something at home, drop something, etc. Not sure why I chose to say sock monkeys...but it started sometime around when my oldest was pretty little. I became a lot more aware of when I'd say things like 'crap'...and I didn't want her to learn things like that from me.
So, that's what I think of when I see sock moneys...or sock monkey hats!
Gwen loves this hat and insisted on sleeping in it tonight.

Minnie Mouse hat

As requested by my adorable little friend for her adorable little Madison...it's a favorite of my girls as well. (Don't be fooled by the sad photos...my little one hates being a hat model).

Busy as a Bee...

A cute little buzzy bee hat....as requested by my cute bee-keeping sister, Lana.

Down with the Captiol!

Made as a special order...Katniss' mockingjay token from the Hunger Games.

Ballet Flat Slippers

I don't love wearing socks, but walking around barefoot in the winter and fall (and sometimes in the summer when the air conditioner is cranked) is a little chilly. But I couldn't find a pattern for slippers that I liked, so here's what I came up with:

And child size! My 4-year-old loves them.

Can be embellished with either a bow, or a cherry blossom flower.

Pom Pom Pigtails - the Mae hat

I originally designed this hat because I needed a hat that I could tie onto my 1-year-old's head so she couldn't pull it off (which she loves to do). So I named it after her.

So far, it's one of my personal favorites. It turned out SO cute! It's knit, so it's super stretchy, and can be made in any colors.

This is what happened when she figured out she wasn't able to pull this one off. Mission accomplished.

Plus, nothing sells hats better than a sad baby face.

R2-KT

Also known as the 'pink R2-D2.' Made this as a custom order request for a sweet girl who's whole family LOVES all things Star Wars.

The Dark Side

This Imperial Cog beanie is perfect for any Star Wars fan or Sith Lord in your life!

The "Ashlee" Lace Slouch Hat

It's been awhile - I know. I have finally caught up on all the Christmas orders, and I'm back to coming up with some new designs.

This is named after my super-stylish sister-in-law. I wanted a hat design that would look cute with short hair or long hair alike. And slouch hats are everywhere!

This is a knit hat (not crochet), so it drapes more and is really light to wear. I can make it in about any color.
