Expecting my 3rd beautiful little girl has re-inspired me to try some new projects. My latest endeavor: vintage-style handmade blessing/baptism/confirmation gowns. This one isn't quite finished yet - still on the lookout for the perfect ribbon belt and embellishment for the headband.
With my girls - I wanted a blessing gown that they each could keep as they grew up, and possibly use with their future daughters. My sister and I wore the same one as infants, so it's hard to decide who gets that. I've seen beautiful framed shadow boxes with blessing gowns in them - I really need to invest in those. These are works of art and should be displayed.
More designs to come, hopefully.
These will be special order only. I won't have them on hand - they take far too long to just make them ahead of time. So if you want to order one, I'll need 3-4 weeks notice (2-3 to make it, 1 to get it shipped to you, if needed).
Let me know if you have any specific style ideas. Otherwise I'll make them as I have requests and you can see the different styles/designs as I go.
